The 8-Hour Virginia Driver Improvement Clinic is the standard Driver Improvement course. It can be taken for several different reasons, including DMV requirements, court requirements, voluntary attendance, insurance purposes, or as the first component of classroom RADEP.
RADEP means Reckless and Aggressive Driver Education Program. It adds education focused specifically on the attitudes, emotions, judgment and behaviors associated with reckless or aggressive driving.
If your paperwork specifically says 12-hour RADEP, an ordinary 8-hour Driver Improvement course by itself is not the complete 12-hour requirement.
